How to get a Dubai visa: step-by-step online application
Short answer
A Dubai tourist visa is obtained online: choose the type, enter traveller details as printed in the passport, upload three documents, pay and track. No consulate visit is needed.
Five steps
- Visa type: duration, entries, standard or express.
- Travel and travellers: entry date, number of travellers, one form for a family.
- Traveller details, exactly as in the passport.
- Documents: biometric photo, passport cover and photo page, each checked automatically on upload.
- Payment: summary, refund rule and consents; the application is submitted after payment.
Passport rule
The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the entry date; otherwise the application is rejected with PASSPORT_VALIDITY_TOO_SHORT. The wizard checks this before you upload anything.
